Topworker 190 Kiln

The Topworker 190 is one of Potterycrafts professional level Top Loading kilns, these are ideal for domestic situations, professional studios, schools and colleges.

These kilns are constructed of a low thermal mass 63.5mm thick insulation brick with a 19mm backup insulation this is then enclosed within a stainless steelouter jacket. The kiln lid and base are constructed of the same high quality low thermal mass insulation brick which is 76mm thick. All Topworker kilns are fitted with Gas struts to aid lid opening, and gaskets are fitted to the topedge of the kilns to improve the heat seal between the top of the kiln side walls and lid.
Heavy duty Kanthal A1 spiral wound elements are used to heat the kiln, the elements are located in grooves around the side walls of the kiln to allow uniform heat distribution throughout the chamber and additionally the elements are graded from top to bottom further aiding even temperature distribution within the kiln.
All Topworker kilns are fitted with castors (one brake caster) for easy movement, and two or three bung holes depending upon model toassist with venting of the kiln and cooling. Potterycrafts Topworker kilns are now fitted with two contactors as standard to give greater protection against possible overfires, when used in conjunction with our range of microprocessor controllers.
