The Topworker 150 is one of Potterycrafts professional level Top Loading kilns, these are ideal for domestic situations, professional studios and schools and colleges.

Thesekilns are constructed of a low thermal mass 63.5mm thick insulation brick with a 19mm backup insulation this is then enclosed within a stainless steel outer jacket. The kiln lid and base are constructed of the same high quality lowthermal mass insulation brick which is 76mm thick. All Topworker kilns are fitted with Gas struts to aid lid opening, and gaskets are fitted to the top edge of the kilns to improve the heat seal between the top of the kiln side wallsand lid.
Heavy duty Kanthal A1 spiral wound elements are used to heat the kiln, the elements are located in grooves around the side walls of thekiln to allow uniform heat distribution throughout the chamber and additionally the elements are graded from top to bottom further aiding even temperature distribution within the kiln.
All Topworker kilns are fitted with castors (one brake caster) for easy movement, and two or three bung holes depending upon model toassist with venting of the kiln and cooling. Potterycrafts Topworker kilns are now fitted with two contactors as standard to give greater protection against possible overfires, when used in conjunction with our range of microprocessor controllers.

All our kilns carry a three year warranty (excluding elements), further proof of our commitment to quality. Ourtechnical staff are on hand to offer advice and assistance with all of your kilns and firing questions. For repairs and servicing we have service engineers based in our factory backed up by a network of independent engineers around the UK.
