Hand building, large sculpture, large tiles, recommended for Raku.
Temperature Range 1150øC-1280øC
Shrinkage (w-d) 3 - 5%
Shrinkage (d-f) 10 - 12%.
0.22% expansion at 500øC.
Texture (1-smooth 10-coarse)10.
Fired Colour - Off White.
Some mould growth on the clay this can be removed by spraying on astonish and wiping away.
Test tile fired to 1120°c off white.
Transparent glazed tile fired to 1220°c the body becomes creamery in colour and the glaze has crazed.
Would recommend testing any glazes if firing in an electric kiln. Not suitable for tableware.
