Black Ice is a black porcelain noted for its beautiful black graphite.
It has high plasticity, which makes it ideal for wheel-throwing and modelling.
Its formula is very stable and provides a secure firing range between 1200 and 1250?C (oxidizing atmosphere).
Suitable for tableware (food-safe), according to ISO 6486:1999.
PLEASE NOTE: This body requires a Zinc-Free Transparent Glaze to maintain the strong black colour.
Zinc-Free Powder glazes P2049 and P3552.
Zinc-Free Brush-on glaze P2793.
