Earthstone Smooth Textured Stoneware (ES 20) is a particularly versatile clay which matures between 1180øC - 1300øC and fires white. ES 20?s low shrinkage means that it is highly resistant to warping, cracking and thermal shock. ES 20 is particularly suited to throwing large pieces and the addition of specially selected molochite means that it is also excellent for hand building, slab building and coiling.

Temperature Range 1150 - 1280 øC.
Shrinkage (w-d) 3 - 5%
Shrinkage (d-f) 5 - 7%
0.26% expansion at 500øC.
Texture (1-smooth 10 coarse) 6.
Fired colour ? Off White.
