Descriptions

  • Covercoat Opaque Underglaze colours can be applied directly on to greenware or bisque.
  • The firing range for these underglazes is 1040°C - 1240°C Cone 04 to Cone 6.
  • Cover Coat dries quickly and can easily be painted over without lifting the colours underneath.
  • To sgraffito, gently scratch through the applied colour use a sgraffito or fine decorating tool to reveal the colour or the clay body beneath it.
  • Covercoat can also be air brushed.
  • Covercoat can be glazed with any dinnerware safe glaze to make them food safe.
