Kiln Temperature Controllers
Controller technology is continually evolving, today's controllers have more flexibility, greater accuracy and are easier to use. More diagnostics are now available to tell you what has gone wrong when a firing has aborted. There are features such as kilowatts used, firing time and safety features give protection against power surge and over-firing.
Potterycrafts kilns are fitted with HAN 7 sockets to accept a variety of different program controllers, so any of our controllers can be fitted to any one of our kilns.
All our controllers are fitted with power surge protection and audible alarms. When supplied with our kilns, these controllers incorporate over-temperature safety devices that shut the kiln down in the event of malfunction
Other types of controller are available for specialist applications, for connection to software, relays for external applications such as damper motors, zone control etc. Please ask for details.
